About the Founder
Brenda is a first generation daughter of Mexican immigrants who has great respect for hard work and sacrifice. She is also a decades long beauty industry OG with a deep curiosity for the creative process. Having spent most of her career behind the chair mastering hair color and slangin’ luxury haircare, she understands that accessibilty to high quality goods is for everyone, not just the affluent.
Growing up, she watched her father upholster classic cars with the most exquisite attention to detail. This is what sparked her love for well made, durable and beautiful pieces. Her mother, an important community leader, Reverend and immigration activist for over 3 decades, is nothing less than a heroin who defines what it means to rise from the ashes.
Together, they are the driving force behind the brand.
LUCHONA is a tribute to her family and to all the immigrant families who deserve to be celebrated for all they have endured.

Currently we are only offering wholesale opportunities for our leather aprons and our scarves.

For leather aprons the minimum order quantity is three. One of each color/style. For scarves the minimum order quantity is 10.
